6 June 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM 3D Printing in Space - Round Table Discussion
To illustrate the interrelation of modern technologies, Design Terminál will host the Budapest 3D Printing Days event with the prominent members of the 3D-printing industry form Hungary and the surrounding countries in parallel with the Team Summit, between the 5th and 7th of June. The main goal is to demonstrate the various uses of 3D printing from industrial to commercial and household applications, and to provide a platform to introduce the newest innovations in the field. Google Lunar XPRIZE Team representatives discuss the opportunities of 3D printing in space and in their projects.

The Power of Prizes
Joel Carnes brings 20 years of experience as a leader in strategy and operations in the high tech, entertainment, and consulting fields. At XPRIZE he heads the Prize Operations group, supporting innovators around the world as they compete to bring their breakthrough ideas to fruition. Prior to joining XPRIZE, Mr. Carnes lead Central Operations at Activision, supporting global franchises including Call of Duty and Skylanders. As Director of Business Operations and Strategy at Disney Online, he managed a complete reboot of the Technology Group, responsible for Disney websites, games, and application development.

Dr. Tibor Pacher | Leader, Team PuliSpace / CEO
Everything is hard for one, nothing is impossible for many.
Trained as a PhD physicist, he has worked,since 1999, as a freelancer on Management and Financial Accounting process consultancy and its support by software systems. During his academic career, he worked on different topics of General Relativity, Cosmology and Quantum Chemistry as well as on ESA's Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) mission. Tibor also runs the project Faces from Earth which focuses on creating interstellar message artefacts to be carried on future deep space missions, and MiniSpaceWorld which aims at the creation of a big, lively scale-model layout for Spaceflight and Astromomy.

Educated in Physics and Engineering, John has held senior roles in BAE Systems, where he was responsible for airborne Radar products, and Pentland Systems, where he held Board-level posts as Marketing Director and Technical Director. At Pentland Systems, John helped secure venture financing and the eventual sale of the business to a major industry partner. In addition to developing the company's prime sales channel in South-East Asia, John also managed the engineering team, leading the core R&D efforts to develop three new, groundbreaking signal acquisition products.

Izmir Yamin graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara with a Bachelor (Honours) Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Aerospace Engineering; Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a graduate engineer from the Institute of Engineers Malaysia and an affiliate Engineer from Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He is currently pursuing his Post Graduate Studies in Aeronautical Engineering in UiTM.

Claiming the future; protecting the past
Derek Webber, a former satellite and launch vehicle systems engineer, Head of Procurement at a satellite services organization, and Managing Director of a satellite broadband provider, has citations in "Who's Who in Science and Engineering" and "Who's Who in the World", and has made contributions to the creation of the space tourism industry for more than a decade. He has authored one book, and been a contributing author to 5 other books, with a commercial space, or space tourism theme. He was awarded a certificate of recognition for his contributions by the Space Tourism Society.
